| Year in Review: The year has started out with tremendous success and opportunities. Many works in progress yet to be finished in time for a flurry of Spring Shows. I started a series that use mechanical elements inspired by my years as a machinist and are assembled into works that relate to the figurative. Sometimes you have to look twice to realize the overall shape of the work. Stay tuned for images of works in progress. The sports figure also made its debut in my work. A new series of History Books have taken shape with notable ball players like, Jonathan Sanchez, Barry Bonds, Alex Smith and David Villa. Humor, irony and word play continue to be found in the titles and this body of work. |
