2005
Year in Review:
In 2005, I completed my BA at San Francisco State University and decided to quit my day job and
continue with the MFA.  My machining years continued to influence my work as I continued the use of
mechanical elements.  The use of books made their first appearance in my work, since education
and history was an important part of my thought process.  My earlier mechanical pieces of the prior
year, felt cold and uninspired.  So I decided to give my work more meaning by including my concern
for the environment, social and political issues from a humanist’s perspective.
